JustDubs Successor Name?

Every time I check this thread the suggestions are all over the place! Looks like something with fire is involved and I like that.
I have a pretty nifty translate addon for firefox but using something in Japanese will be hard to find.

I disagree, I think we should Keep it JustDubs but add talk or chat to the end of it. i.e. JustDubs Chat or JustDubs Talk or even JustDubs News. Where we talk about any and all anime Dubed or subed. Make it a rule not to mention the names of other sites in the threads but if someone asks for help finding something send them a personal message.

And anyway the site might have been closed down because the asshole money grubbers are after anything with names about dubed anime and such. But I see no harm in having a message board attached to a website that only talks about and reviews anime. Remember you can post clips of anime if it has something to do with news and reviews.

I would prefer to reuse the old name, but several people have speculated that doing that may draw unwanted attention quicker. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "message board". That reminds me more of a forum. My understanding is that we will be having a more permanent forum to accompany the new site, but the site itself will be similar to a regular anime site. Depending on how the forum is stuff "might" be able to posted there and we will most certainly talk about our opinions on anime and such.

I just thought of something, this is the rebirth of JD, people seem to like the fire ides, and the phoenix is symbolic of rebirth, so why not something like JDPhoenix.eu?

First off, I would like to say i love your sig.
I like that name. I am one of the people that really like the fire ideas people are coming up with and the analogy between JD and a Pheonix is spot on, I think.

I like the phoenix idea, but I think I would like something with "Spark" in it.

If your after an acronym could just use DA followed by something...
DA = Dubbed Anime

DA-Rocks,
DA-Lovers,
etc...

This would work with most acronyms and variations...

Still surprised that nobody has even come close to guessing what its going to be.

A guessing game now? That sounds fun... Mind you when you know the answer it always seems easier.

Otaku Social

It shows we are fans, but doesn't imply streaming. It implies a social network for Otaku to gather and discuss anime, games, manga, etc.

OTAC -or- Otaku Together Alone Club... I noticed a big increase of posting on Facebook for that club.

It's probably got Social in it at least.

I never said it was a guessing game. Nor did I propose that's what we are or should be doing. I simply noted how its funny that there is so many guesses and not one of them was even close.

In summary, they have an idea for the name and nothing we have said is what their idea is. Even if we did guess what it was or got really close they would not say anyway... Correct?

Sporadic Dubs does have a nice ring to it....

Maybe just Sporadic but make it an acronym related to dubbed anime?

It could contain Severus in it. Something like SporadicSeverus.eu or maybe SporadicRed.eu lol

No, I'm afraid the name we have currently chosen was actually conceptualized by yours truly. Only Hououin Kyouma Esquire VII would possess such literary fortitude as to rename a legendary site appropriately. Now bask in my indisputably exceptional command of language! HU-HA. HU-HA. HA!
