Re: The New Release Club: General Discussion
Honestly it doesn't matter if there is a thread like this or if they remained as one. Well yeah they probably would get lost so this general discussion thread is a good idea. As long as there are posts it isn't a waste so let it continue I say.Sporadic wrote:
Hey just let me know if you want me to merge it back. I wasn't sure if this was helping you organize or not. I figured official club announcements or updates might get lost amidst the discussions.
Oh poor Meta going to miss out, well it seems like there is some interest in this series so if it is a winner I guess you'll be participating in the other one instead. I think its premise allows for the males to cry since it is basically the end of mankind and losing loved ones would be even harder. It also states that the two kids witness their mother being devoured by a giant so I would be willing to wager that this is a scene that many families would witness. According to the bio this is a stronghold, so where do you go when your last hope is destroyed?Metazoxan wrote:
I feel so alone. I'm probably not watching it for a couple reasons. Mainly I don't like horror also it felt like they have way to many close ups of guys crying in dramatic fashion. Trailer did look kinda awesome but I'm not picking it up next season.
I think males crying is justified when thought of like this.
I didn't say that they all weren't good, just that a large portion is disappointing, and yes that includes Oreshura for me. Many of them have annoying themes and the progress is kind of slow. Now I can't talk about vividred but I am watching 14 of the other airing from this season that are 24 mins in length so I have a pretty good idea for how much crap is out there.Natsuru-san wrote:
Thanks. I doubt I'll watch it then however you almost ruled what you said out by saying this season's anime isn't that good. Hell Vivid is awesome and Oresha is good.
I haven't seen the newest ep yet nor have I watch ikkitousen but yeah it is a weird show, and another example of a disappointing anime from this season.Sir Maddy wrote:Hm.
Senran Kagura is....odd to say the least.
It's like Ikkitousen, but a whole lot better.

I kinda figured that but that makes me want to watch it even less. End of the world tragic stories just depress me.Supernatural Knight wrote:Oh poor Meta going to miss out, well it seems like there is some interest in this series so if it is a winner I guess you'll be participating in the other one instead. When this happens in a serie just look outside and be like ''HA we still have our world while yours is being destroyed ''

I was thinking the same exact thing last night.
I said this reminds me exactly of Ikki Tousen, esp with the secret ninja arts.

I had such a day on Saturday. I watched all my weeklies that I wasn't able to watch during the week, plus 22 eps of Hunter X Hunter.

Dropped Hakkenden Touhou. Some strong yaoi undertones in that show.

It's so hard to watch Amnesia... I mean the story itself is so interesting to me, I really want to know what and why and how and etc happens. However, that reverse harem thing and those clothes are kinda gay...

The sword was cool. and that part with the demon. But it became too much to handle by ep 4.

Re: The New Release Club: General Discussion
Okay so the newest Tamako Market has come out and I have to say so far it is my favourite episode, anyone care to guess why? If you have so much as read even some of my posts I'd think anyone could guess why.
Anyway I think this is the first episode of it to make me so much as smile at a scene [when the teacher entered to when he left], otherwise this is still just meh.

Because suddenly.
Some sort of plot happens.
Anyway this episode of Amnesia was a flop.
Apparently the MC (Who still doesn't have a name by the way) can't swim.
