Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

New Release Club Maoyuu Maou Yuusha discussion 40587

Well since the migration was a couple of days ago and some interest has returned to the club activities I am now announcing this clubs activities open once again.
So it is too bad that the previous posts are not here, but feel free to add recaps of eps or whatever else you desire.
So let the discussion begin.

I like the Hero's teleportation magic. Though I have one question about it. did he have that before he met the demon king? or did he gain it because of her? If it was before, than why in the world did they not teleport to the demon king in the first place, instead of traveling through the whole war?

maybe one of the condition of the teleport is to be there first. its like an rpg where you cant teleport to an unexplored area.

This was the only one out of the two I was watching and I recently dropped it because I can't stand romance anime. I'd rather watch the infinite loli ass shots in Vivid. However I might pick this back up towards the end of the season so I can participate in the discussions..

this one i think doesnt really focus on romance. its one sided. the king wants the hero.

Please for the love of Odin someone slap the Hero before I do.
So it's now been what 2 years and the Hero has spent the whole of the last 6 months avoiding the Demon Queen cause he is afraid of hurting her despite being fully aware she loves him? And in that two years he hasn't even kissed her despite her having tried and even demanding he "do the rest"...

Well at least the next episode preview suggests he grows at least a hint of some balls and comes back rather than pissing around in a cupboard hiding from her.

To be fair it sounds like he expects to die by the end of this so he is probably distancing himself from her hoping that will make his death easier on her. However this is quite a cowardly way to handle things. He has already decided that he will die in the end rather than trying to survive to stay with her and has decided to try to stay away from her so that he doesn't have to deal with the built of leaving her behind when he dies.

Hopefully someone smacks him and gives him the will to live.

Then again he could just make a harem out of all the demon girls that keep proposing to him. Then the demon queen wouldn't be alone if he died. Laughing

It sounds like the hero's been busy, out there in the demon world. That "Big Breasted cow girl" and the proposed marriage from the duke. But what the heck? He's been hiding in a cupboard whenever he returns? I'm kind of mad at him for being such a wuss.

But really, I like this anime and I hope that they progress in their relationship. But I also hope that the Hero finds the Mage soon, so they can get on with the story.

I'd like it to end happily in all honesty. The Hero dying would be a bit of a troll move. It would also be fairly going against the whole original point of the contract they made if he intends to die. Why make a contract in which you belong to her and she belongs to you with the ultimate aim of being together in a world without war if you've no intention on surviving? He just needs to man up. He said it himself he's not being very hero like.

ok thats it. i have contained myself long enough.

i dont like hero. he is so annoying that i want to puch every balls he has. i mean... every....balls... he .. has. though everyone compares this one as like s&w. its not. hero is not as of same level as laurence. he is not a character where you can look up and respect. lawrence has the skills of becoming a fine merchant. i dont like the way hero decides. i feel like im seeing haruyuki again.

about the demon king, i still dont trust her. she is a demon. im might be racist (? xD) on this but she is demon. there are demons that are showing this kind and gentle approach and after you trusted it so much, bang there will chaos. she is so manipulative. that is scary. add to that her head maid. ghost surveillance and the skill to psycho talk to people.

also,this anime has fan service.

last, if the makers have time to make this series, why didnt they just continued s&w when the series are just of the same flavor. its been years of waiting for the next s&w.

Probably because of how long the LN series continued past where the anime left off. The anime finished at volume 5 while the LN's continue on to 17! Unless they just skipped about 10 volumes they wouldn't get anywhere near the ending and you just know people would kick up about them leaving that much out.

Yup S&W is based on a LN. Of which only 7 of those 17 have been translated to English... that's why I just googled the ending lol.

Yeah, when they were dancing, I thought that they were going to finally kiss. I groaned when they didn't, and he left again. Couldn't he have stayed a little longer?

Also, his teleporting magic is pretty impressive. It seems that he also has some sort of mega destruction magic, wonder what that's about.

ohhhhhh never saw the anime but i'm following the manga. Reading this is much more better compared to those boring economy books, a lesson about economics with a little sprinkle of romance.

what version are you following? don't really know why but there are various versions of the manga made by different artist, i'm following the link i posted above. The..."art" is much more interesting compared to the others.

Yeah the last episode made me want to hit them with the way they stop just because the music ended. It's like "Oh the music stopped well we can't have our first kiss without musical accompaniment!". However I like how they show the human conquered town in demon world and show how the humans act like real monsters to the demon residents. It shows really well the theme of the show how neither side is truly any more evil than the other in a war.

Well I know one of the manga is more than twice as long as any of the others (It has about 20 chapters while the second longest only has about Cool

. So I'd consider that one to be the best to follow if you wanted to pick one.
