By surprise I meant that I didn't even think about watching this anime before it came out.
I expected more from Maoyuu, so I'd say a disappointing show for me.
And yes, Mondaiji bla bla is really awesome

OVERRATED!
My favourite is Vividred.
Because, it's interesting. ;_;
What do you mean overrated? It's an average show, but I call it a surprise to me, because I didn't plan watching it.
Vividred? Well you are little girl fan, so I am not surprised. I didn't really like it... the story itself does seem interesting tho.

I say it's overrated because of how much people say it's really good, when it's very flawed.

I split these posts into a new thread so the club thread wouldn't become cluttered with idle discussion. If Super disapproves of this I can always merge it back.

Well, it's still good... just not pretty good.

Wrong choice. Im watching that, I meant Kotoura-san.
Kotoura-san is about a girl, Kotoura, who is able to read minds. Because of that her parents divorced and everyone treats her like a monster. She moves to a new school, where she meets Manabe and jons the ESP Society club.

Man, I'm full of misunderstandings today...
I didn't even know about it until I came across it in my constant search for new animes.
Maoyuu isn't that bad, I kinda like it.

Thank you Maddy. My question is why the HELL was that not at the end of the ep? I checked every vid pretty much and nothing! This ep actually makes sense though. Each one so far has introduced us to one of the girls and this one is like a special ep or something. While I don't care about the panty shots or anything like that I will say Vivid is a really good anime and I have high hopes for it. ^-^Sir Maddy wrote:http://www.vividred.net/next/06.html

Ok why am I hearing so much good stuff about Tamako Market? It's about some type of food or something food sounding from what I heard. How is that even a good plot for an anime? I'm not trying to bash and believe me I'm curious as to why people even like this anime? Just from the short discription the club had for it, it doesn't sound like it's any good but I'm hearing otherwise. So why and how is it good? No spoilers please.Natsu Dragneel wrote:Man, Tamako Market is getting pretty interesting by the moment, same for Vividred Operation

In my opinion at least, good comedy and good animation, that's one reason to like the animeNatsuru-san wrote:Ok why am I hearing so much good stuff about Tamako Market? I think it's decent.
It's done something I've never seen KyoAni do before.
Create a love triangle with a lesbian in it.

Well a general discussion thread is fine by me as I guess it gives a place to discuss all the anime in general from this season that isn't official activities, hell I was just happy that the main thread was actually getting updated as that was left behind before. I'm now kind of confused as to what to update the main thread with then, perhaps discussions of next seasons anime goes there, meh I'll figure something out?

I'm really not sure why, since you have two people give you good reasons allow me to give you a negative view of it. It is branded as a comedy, but so far nothing really has been evident of that genre. Almost every attempt at comedy fails as it mostly relies on the expressions and mood of the scene which I believe to be poor at best.
From what I understand it appeals to K-on fanboys because it is the same style of animating it, and if I remember correctly it is from the same creators too. But it really isn't anything special.
The premise is about a young girl that has an encounter with xxxxx which causes slightly more unusual events to occur. This then revolves around the slightly less average life of this girl and her friends.
If that isn't plain enough there is almost nothing for fans except for the moe character design, minimal fanservice, no violence, no swearing, no development it is just basically talking about nothing.
If you want to watch a comedy there are plenty of others that do actually make people laugh out there, so if I had of known all this earlier I wouldn't have bothered with this series, or most of them this season actually.

Re: The New Release Club: General Discussion
Yeah I left the old discussion of Shinsekai behind as there really wasn't much activity in there. Well you guys would know as it were there was a max of 4 of us discussing it.
But man that newest ep of Shinsekai was great, it reminded me of why I enjoyed this anime in the first. So it would appear that it is another fiend that wasn't spotted by the committee, don't tell me it was the chicken kid who ran off with Maria.
But anyway when it went to open the door, with that squeal sound wow great scene. This is what I was missing with this seasons anime as there wasn't a horror or suspense anime included amongst them.

I mean with the manga having the genres of Action, Mystery, Drama, Fantasy, Horror, Shounen, Super Power, Supernatural, I'm hoping it will be good.
I feel so alone. I'm probably not watching it for a couple reasons. Mainly I don't like horror also it felt like they have way to many close ups of guys crying in dramatic fashion. Trailer did look kinda awesome but I'm not picking it up next season.

Thanks. I doubt I'll watch it then however you almost ruled what you said out by saying this season's anime isn't that good. Hell Vivid is awesome and Oresha is good.Supernatural Knight wrote:Natsuru-san wrote:Ok why am I hearing so much good stuff about Tamako Market?
