Mine was Tsumihoroboshi-hen (The final Arc in season one)

But my all time favourite Arc is Tsukiotoshi-hen (Which is a PS2 only arc that I wish they would adapt.)

I really like the franchise, but it saddens me when people only watch the dubbed part and say it all about "random killings" and don't understand the true nature of the show.

I have to say this the anime came out exceptionally well in contrast to Umineko's (which I did not care for but still watched).

As for my favorite chapter in the series, I like the Time Wasting chapter.

I dont see anything really wrong with the dub im pretty easy going with the dubs in general though, i did like one or two of the subbed voices better for their character but thats ok. All i could think of for Rika in the dub was Euphemia's voice actress though

am i the only one who finished the first season dubbed? and to tell you, i like the dub. take that from someone who watches sub.

I watched the first season dub too but this was because I try to watch whatever has a dub in english. I didn't mind it actually and it wasn't the worst that I've ever heard. I do have the complaint that they couldn't do the freak outs effectively enough though, however I checked the subbed for a comparison on the ladder scene and it wasn't that great either.
So usually the subs freak outs are captivating but this one was only decent as that ladder scene was one of my only complaints about the voices. Lets just say I'm glad that since this series it would appear that the VA's have become better at voicing characters such as these.
