Kuroko no Basket Anime Discussion
English: Kuroko's Basketball
Synonyms: Kuroko no Basuke
Synopsis
Kuroko's Basketball The Teiko Middle School Basketball Team. The class that produced three perfect seasons in a row, with five once-in-a generation players, called "The miracle generation". There was another player who all of them respected... A legendary 6th player. An up-and-coming power player, Taiga Kagami, is just back from America. When he comes to Seirin High School, he meets the super-ordinary boy, Tetsuya Kuroko. Kagami is shocked to find that Kuroko isn't good at basketball, in fact, he's bad! And he's so plain that he's impossible to see. But Kuroko's plainness lets him pass the ball around without the other team noticing him, and he's none other than the sixth member of the Miracle Generation. Kuroko makes a pact with Kagami to defeat the other members of the Miracle Generation, who have all played basketball at other schools. A battle of light (Kagami) and shadow (Kuroko) begins!

Re: Kuroko no Basket Anime Discussion
Tip Off OVA was awesome! Nice to see some of the generation of miracles and for a change to see it from Kise's eyes. During this ova i was thinking this could have been a first ep of a new series with Kise as MC.
Although the description did say we would see Kuroko's past. We did, but i would love to see an OVA from the time when he joined the team.
Was fun to see how they all were back in the day though. How Kise found out how amazing Kuroko is, how Aomine was when he was a nice person, good to see the 2 guys we dont know much about yet, was fun to see the generation of miracles owning a robber
Very good OVA.

But still that's not enough for me We didn't get to see how they are playing as a team
And it's impossible to have Kise as a MC, because it's Kuroko's Basketball

I was waiting for someone to create, because we did have a rule to leave threads to original makers from old forum, but since nobody made it, I took over.
You must watch OVA's!

2nd Kuroko's Basketball Season Slated for September
Nobuo Sumino, the head of Shueisha's comics and contents sales department, reported in the May/June issue of The Tsukuru magazine on Saturday that the previously revealed second anime season of Kuroko's Basketball will premiere in September. The first season based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki's manga ran from April to September of last year.
Sumino added that the original manga's volume had initial print runs of 300,000 copies before the anime premiered, but they rose to 500,000 after the anime. Between the April rebroadcast and the new season, he muses that the next volume of the original manga could have a print run of more than 1 million copies in August.
