As has been stated a multitude of times, the reason we are angry is the use of our name, mascot and layout without permission. When the Chatango chatbox was still up, Tank stated that he found the images on Google and therefore they were free game. We all know that is not how the world of copyright and art works. I believe it was you that posted an apology in another thread earlier stating Kami would be removed. We've seen the color of the site changed to a shade of blue, but no change in the layout or mascot. It has been 2 months now. Promises mean nothing if they are hollow words.

Let me try to explain our feelings with a metaphor. You have died unexpectedly in the prime of your life. An opportunist comes along and discovers your death. He goes to a plastic surgeon and alters himself to look like you. He uses your name and attempts to live the life you had. But he isn't you. His behaviors are not similar and he, within months, has toppled all the hard work you did over your lifetime.

From our perspective, your site has done nothing but confuse the community. I am going to try to be tactful here--the professionalism you display to the public is embarrassing and tarnishes the good name we worked almost 6 years to build. Do you realize there was a post on your Facebook page telling a user to "go masterbate" from one of your staff? There are spelling errors embedded on each page "Your watching ..." I could go on, but I think you are aware.

So if you ask what we would prefer, I think I speak for all the Refugees when I say that we would like you make the changes you promised (changing the mascot and appearance) and changing the name to create your own identity instead of stealing ours.

On a personal note, I stated earlier in this thread that I have no problems with the forumers on your site. They are a pleasant bunch. I will not be joining your community because I don't believe in the leadership. Ignition, you seem like a pleasant enough individual, but from what I see, you've been cleaning up for others and that is where the problem lies.

I can name a few people who were banned or whose posts were not approved when they were trying to speak their mind or provide some sort of clarification to the situation. Not one person from your site was banned here. And you are the third to have registered.

I call troll on this whole post as a matter of fact. The admin on that site is too arrogant to register here or make any sort of rational discussion.

It's neither me nor Tank. The "owner" of the domain is a lazy bum, but is not a bad person all together. Heck, he doesn't even have a forum account . Tank was placed in charge at first, and as a result all this drama happened. Now I'm here trying to clean this mess up.
