Is there a novel, comic, video game, etc. that you would like to see a movie made from?

A lot of Clive Cussler's novels would make some pretty great movies I think. They already made one "Sahara" but it seems to have a bad rep? Well I liked it so that's all that matters to me Smile

. The books are like James Bond with some more light hearted moments.

Also not as a movie, but I really think Xenogears ps1 game would make an excellent full fledged anime.

Ovyda roasting on an open fire sounds like a nice peaceful flick that I'd take my kids to see

I read online several years ago about rumors regarding a live action Robotech movie.

I've been following it. Harmony Gold was in talks with Toby McGuire to possibly arrange a live action movie for Robotech, but ever since their initial talks they've pretty much fallen silent about it for years, so I think it's likely dead.

Absolutely, we need more of Cussler's books turned into movies. And James Patterson's too.

Also, this one online comic, Alpha Shade, could make an excellent anime. Unfortunately it's been on hiatus for a very long time now...

I think Final Fantasy XII would actually make a pretty good movie if they did some changes here and there.

The Mortal Engines series by Philip Reeve
The His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman ( Though the first book was made into a movie (The Golden Compass), it could have been a lot better)
The City Watch books by Terry Pratchett.

Also a good read, "The Second Sons Trilogy" from Jennifer Fallon. It's like Code Geass in that the main character is able to accurately predict events before they happen and act on them. He uses all the tools available to him to save his kingdom from corruption. No robots here just pure mind games.

I like to see this kind of format in a movie. Less action, more smart dialogue.
