Don't get me wrong here I like the pic in all however to actually CHANGE Kami's look is wrong. I feel and believe we should keep her original look.

Noey owns the rights to Kami. We cannot use her for any future projects without his permission. From what I know about him and his relationship with Kami, permission will not be granted.

Yeah I remember that. But since JD is down what is he going to do with Kami anyway? Well we could just have the guy who made Kami in the first place do a redesign for us. Even if they look similar if it is a design made for us Noey can't complain

Actually I was thinking we could use it on the new site. The "Kami's sister" color scheme would be based on whatever color scheme was chosen for the site. Look in the thread put in the Sleeping forest to see what we discussed there.

Or is Steveyk going to be so inflexible that he won't allow the site to have a mascot? If we need one that he approves of then we could submit any created to him for approval. But if this site is going to replace JD then I say it needs a mascot like JD.

Some manga website used Kami as their favicon and I think Wolfe/Zyklon filed complaints. I don't think the manga website bothered changing it, though.

As for Kami - she was the mascot, JD's signature. It would be nice if we could atleast salvage the pics.

We should try to come up with a Japanese-sounding name but not one that's commonly overused in anime like Rin or Kanade. Arisu is better. I like the idea of a blue-ish color scheme this time. Knee socks are cool as well, though I would prefer without stripes.

Also she needs a katana. Because chicks with swords = automatic win. :3
