I just finished the Mystic Archives of Dantalian. It was pretty entertaining, on all accounts. There was a variety of characters, all of whom were well-crafted for their purpose. The relationship between Huey and Dalian was cute and entertaining, especially with Dalian being a Tsundere. The structure of the plot-line reminded me very much of Sherlock Holmes. Exciting, individual stories take place with each episode, but come together in small ways to build a central plot-line. The subtle movement of the story towards the final climax was new to me to see in anime, which is a reason I really liked this series. There is minimal backstory, which keeps from there being too many over-elongated connections. Through and through, I really enjoyed this series and would recommend it to anybody looking for a fun series with well-established characters, a refreshing mid-twentieth century setting, and a good plot that takes notes from a classic masterpiece.

Watching Sket dance episode 48. Man, I have to say, I was expecting an anime that only focused on comedy. Instead I got an anime with sad character backgrounds that are full of feels, yet it's still a funny anime.

I'm on episode 14 of Last Exile right now. I think I'm in love. I want to be a pilot in that world. Fly the skies and be free as a bird. I'm getting a huge Skies of Arcadia vibe from this show and I love it.

Following a MAL suggestion based on Interlude, saw "Please Save My Earth" recently:

Then there was Dominion Tank Police - I'd put this one in the oldie but goodie category, it was actually quite entertaining. Too bad it was only 4 episodes, could have used 2 more just for the fun of it.

Next up: Ice, M.D. Geist, Megazone 23, Super Atragon, Tales of Phanatsia... Not necessarily in that order.

All right! After a month long hiatus, I have finally finished Kampfer. Pretty funny. Too ecchi for me but funny nonetheless.

Now I can focus on Last Exile. On episode 14 and I'm loving it so far. At this rate It may become one of my favorite anime.
