We're inviting people initially through this method. Over the next day I'll be checking through every user on this site and sending an invite via email and then a reminder in PM. If we bulk email everyone on the members list we could possibly get questionable people on the new site, which we're trying to avoid as the whole point of an invitation based entry is to be specific on who we invite. Mainly so we do not have a repeat of JustDubs.

Again, like stevey has already mentioned, anything else will be disclosed in PM if you have any questions.

1. The script invites people by email, it has nothing to do with this site.
2. As mentioned several times before you posted, all will be explained in the email.
3. we are currently looking for a new plugin for PM's the forums software is created for wordpress and is still in development.
4. These forums were always temporary.

Thanks for answering and yeah I know this forum was always temp. I remember the sitch when we had to move to here since I was a member of the old site.

Well one option has already been mentioned to you and I'll mention another. You could always get a new email address. Though the first option is prob the best.

It doesn't need to be complicated but a little flair is good. For example on JD most of the site was partly transparent with a dark background that was a bunch of clouds and stuff. It wasn't super complicated but it looked great and had a nice smooth design. Looking at how the review site looks it just feels kinda flat. well IMO anyway.

I think there's a difference in being simple like having a simple UI and being simple art-wise. I think Yoso is saying the site has the latter, and that makes it less appealing.

that's why i added "too"

i mean its not bad, but its a bit lacking in the "appeal" department. First impressions are important, and the current one doesn't really have anything on it that stands out except for the mascot.
But i guess since this new site isn't really public then the current design will probably suffice.

Then download a styles mod and redesign it yourself to how you want it to look, there are mods out there for this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/ being one of them, hell even someone on the site has already started re designing the layout for how he wants it to look and supplying the theme for this mod.

The look of the streaming site is irrelevant when compared to it's content, there are so many crappy looking websites that have huge followings not because of the look but because of what content it has. And I honestly don't think this site looks crappy. What you are asking for is, I am assuming is various anime type images plus a little transparency in the design. Sounds simple enough but just so we are clear, I like the current design.

True content is more important than looks. Especially since it isn't exactly public. Also I just thought a little transparency would be good not exactly the anime images. But either way I'll look into that redesigning thing thanks for that. It's not that I think it looks crappy it just feels a little flat and unappealing to me.
