I dropped Shinsekai before the Yaoi kiss.

There was also the fact the characters were bland, I found the MC to be annoying.
The plot seemed interesting though it's done poorly.
I'm just done with this Anime.

im still watching shinsekai ill just put it on hold until im bored with other anime also i always forgot what episode im on im pretty sure i skipped one in the child arc

about shinsekai, yeah its now on an annoying stage. i just dont get Saki but ill still continue watching this series. there should be a very valid explanation on this.

Thanks for that, yeah I saw the announcement quite a while ago before the site was shutdown, back when this was a well thought up yet quickly thrown together precaution so there was no way I was going to be left behind. That was my only goal really, well that and to continue my club.

Now I know there is still a lot of hate for Shinsekai Yori and now Maddy's included in this so that was why I was thinking about leaving it out of this forum. In the end it was only me,Lunar,Noobs, saywut discussing it anyway. Also they have now removed one of the best parts from it, the end theme so now I am annoyed at it sort of, although the new ep was interesting.

So there are only two official activities currently running, although I'd encourage everyone with free time to check out Magi if you haven't already.

I was wondering where the other threads went. But I guess most of the other ones are either finished or just a couple people discussing them. All we really need is the two new anime for this season.

I don't think that Shinsekai Yori is that bad actually. Besides the weird, all of a sudden Yoai/Yuri, and the altering memories, The anime is quite interesting. The world's situation, the Queer rat's development, and the Karma demons/ Fiends, They make for a really interesting anime I think.

Simply put, it's got potential.
It just doesn't use it.

I agree that this community is a pretty good place for anime discussions, especially since the people from life I know don't watch the ones I do. This was why I made my club in the first place. Also I found larger sites such as MAL your comments are basically ignored due to the amount of traffic seen in those threads.

Yeah most of the forgotten threads were finished with the only exceptions being the ones no one mentioned or discussed very often. After all this is only a temp forum so there is no need for everything to be here.

Shinsekai is still good, its just that lots of the watchers can't stand any hint of males kissing [yet are fine with females kissing, wheres your double standards?] I wish to see more about these karma demons, but going from the recent ep we should be in for some good action content soon instead of just a small war that lasted an "hour".


@Maddy, I already know which anime I plan to nominate for our activity when the time comes, I've been psyched since I saw the announcement and trailer. Its manga has been well received and it is a seinen so it should be interesting to watch. Anyone know which one I am talking about?

I'll take it's one of these:
- If it's Date-A live, I won't watch it because it's harem.
- If it's that Hentai one, I might watch it.
- If it's Dansai, I might watch it because I've never seen a hair fetish before.

I know you are guilty of that Maddy, but don't worry as lots of others are too. I am one of the few that didn't rage or cringe during that scene as I don't see a problem with it. They also sort of explain it too.

Hmm thats odd it isn't actually listed as a seinen on that chart, but I know MAL has its manga listed as one.

Although I do plan on watching the 2nd and 3rd option you gave, these aren't the one I plan on nominating. And I can say that I am currently watching a hair fetish anime from this season, is this a new genre for anime now?
