Chatbox possibility?

Yeah, I think it is a good idea. I am on pretty frequently and this would be a nice way to chat with everyone. An on/off button, like a previous posted noted, would be a nice idea as well.

The Xat still exists js.

The community chat we already have is fine enough for me... Those chatrooms get flooded with people who don't use the forums much/at all.

Last time I went in it, there was some crazy pony fetish spam o.0

Would there be a way to restrict a chat room to only people that are members of this form? Or have a certain amount of posts(that are not spam)?
If either of those restrictions could be implemented then people who do not use the forum cannot chat on it and spam ponies.

Only members can post in the chat. I honestly don't see it being used enough to be worried about spam.
