The Haruhi movie isn't a recap of the series or at least not in my mind as although it does collide with some content due to time travel but it does not go over it again and is a stand alone story that does not require you to watch the series. The clannad movie would be an example of a recap as it covers the same material.

Haruhi is 2 and a half hours I believe

The movie is more of a long episode, since it doesnt even give off the airs of being a movie.

This isn't a recap of anything in the series lol. It's a completely different story, get your facts straight.

I wanted my 2 hours back after watching it.

Too long to be a special. It takes up an entire Light Novel itself/takes up 3 manga volumes just to tell the whole arc.

Yeah I was disappointed that not one but BOTH Vandread movies were just a recap of the anime. Well from what I read anyway. I've seen the series but haven't seen the movie. Also...

Wait, SW has a movie. o_o Dang then that's also now on my to watch list.

As for my vote. I'll wait. Not sure if I feel like watching a retelling of Vandread and while Haruhi I'd like to watch I've yet to watch the anime nor do I ave the time to watch it with all the anime I'm currently watching and not to mention the rest of what's going on right now. So I'll either Vote for Vandread or Case Closed. I've seen the latter already but if it wins then movie 3 can be nominated and that one I've yet to see. Anyway I'll wait for now and see what happens.

its a great movie, but you have to see up to episode 8 "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" to understand whats going on

episode 8 is realtive though, becasue the handling of episode order in this show is rediculus. ill tell you why

basicly, season 2, fills gaps between episodes in season 1, so, watching season 2 by itself (which includes Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody) will make NO SENSE, if you watch the show chronologically (or the 2009 version) will deliver the complete experience (this is the way Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody falls as #8 ) 2009 is the way justdubs had it listed

ill do you all the favor of linking the old putlocker videos justdubs used, if thats ok, but only up to episode 8. only reason im doing this is becasue finding it on another website, you cant be exactly sure what order they are using as if you look here
