Re: Wii and Gamecube games
Well Super Smash Bros Brawl is a must play.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 were also a lot of fun Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess might also be a good choice.
For GameCube you could try Sonic adventure 2 (It was before a lot of crappy sonic games started coming out) and Paper Mario: The thousand Year Door.

I know what you did DemonEyes . I know, trust me I know.
Sonic Adventure 2 as mentioned above is a great choice. Also do you like rpgs? Skies of Arcadia was ported from the Dreamcast to the Gamecube and is one of the only rpgs for the Gamecube and is also very good.
:I wish my Dreamcast still works :

I just failed all video game logic. The fact that I forgot to mention the rogue squadron games makes me a depressed star wars fan.

The last boss of Ghostbusters of which ever version you choose you fight off a psycho who thinks he's a god. I've seen this on youtube, but in the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions its funny what Egon says to Ivo Shandor before they destroy him.

Re: Wii and Gamecube games
Big secret. Gamecube did have online. Its not necessary to play PSO though, but it does open up some extra things and items. Emulators can do the online portion. (also has offline multiplayer coop)
Episode 1&2 are on 1 disc and your character can be used in both. Both have their own story lines and are directly related. In terms of length I know the first episode is pretty long. Still haven't beaten the second ep.
I'd highly recommend giving it a try.
On another note, I've been working on my own SSBB custom with all new characters and movesets. (try Red's version if you haven't already)

Re: Wii and Gamecube games
if i have to think of a game that hasn't been said then
for the wii i would say mad world
and the game cube the pikmen series
there are other games i would say you atleast try like little kings story for the wii and P.N.O.3 or wario ware for the game cube not as good as the 2 above but still fun

Re: Wii and Gamecube games
Megaman X command mission was amusing (though its also available for ps2).
Fire Emblem: Path of radiance deserves mention and it's sequel radiant dawn.
You seem to have played all the other games I liked on the GC....

Surprised no one mentioned any of the Pokemon Colosseum games. They were enjoyable for what they were worth.

They were enjoyable, but the appeal is probably limited.
