same here, i love chromes ability to block ad's although, i keep getting heat from sites saying "please disable your ad-blocker" and im like pffffffft NO!

Just a food for thought, since I am sure a great majority of us have somewhat decent protection

Re: Site Advertising
I don't have any serious protection on my computer. I use Comodo Dragon and if there is malware, the Chromium-based browser will pick it up just like Google Chrome and warn the user. Also, it would only come from the advertisements. Any easy fix is editing the hosts file (for Windows users), which I have done for the notorious websites that give you malware. If the advertisements becomes a serious problem for everyone and they don't want to edit their "hosts" file, let me know. I do have web space to host a forum. No advertisements required. Hell I keep advertisements from 3rd party sites like DoubleClick out of my content because of the malicious software that can be delivered from sites like that. I don't mind financially backing the community for hosting expenses.

Umm vashnik,
Is your signature reporting MY stuff back at me?
If so then that is very scary.

Yes, it is reporting your stuff to you only. No one else can see your information. It's actually a simple trick using PHP and making the web server run the image as a script.
Just don't save the image as it will save the image, not the script and then you will definitely show off your information if you share the image or link the saved image.

Re: Site Advertising
Ok guys so here is the low down if your link is re directing others to site related to dub/sub anime streaming. then that is a violation. end of story. thats it. On top of the mailware, If you dont protect your computer one way or another, then your going to get it. Now im just saying from a person who know about computers, If you yourself are only one finding this problem then its not the site as said before. I would advise you to go through your Pc and figure it out.
If you want to discuss about anime streaming sites then do it on skype or some other form of talking methods, not here. We dont need more stuff going down like JD. If you want to keep this place alive, i would advise you to also NOT POST LINKS.

Re: Site Advertising
This may be a little different, but why does "The Anime Cafe" have links to a couple of fairly known streaming sites?

Well, it's not like they're openly advertising new dub sites for people to go to. Its only for their activities. I'm just going off how the rules were on the old forum. Nothing has changed.
