Last time an event like this was held, the Vita was announced. PS4, PS4, PS4! I- I hope..

But I thought Sony said they would wait for Microsoft to make the first move when it came to announcing the next gen consoles? Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it.

I'm guessing it's likely the announcement of the PS4. Let's hope they have some impressive tech demos to show off and a reasonable price tag this time.

it is the ps4 announcement. some more rumored features wre leaked today with a "2-20-13" video in the article

It's supposedly coming out this year. Holiday season I guess. I'm not sure how I feel about that, I'll have to see if I'll even want it before games come out.

With all the videos they've been posting on YouTube talking about the history of PlayStation and the leaked photo's of the controller, i think it's safe to say it will be the PlayStation 4.

Looks great, but i won't be buying day 1. I really want to, but other things come first. What was a big turn off was no ps3 backwards compatibility
