Friendly Reminder

Most of you don't have your visitor's wall activated.
Profile > Preferences > (third option) Allow visitor messages on my profile

Also be sure to check for Friend Requests.
Profile > Friends and Foes

Thank you. I feel like a creeper when I have to pm someone something simple that could be left on a Visitor's wall.

Oh, I thought friend requests would have some sort of notice like the Messages have. Now I need to check for friends on my profile and constantly be disappointed D:.

they should? Though i have found some peoples add blockers and pop up blockers have stopped it.

I have the VM system on. Last night I got on and noticed I had three new VM's. However I tried and tried but could not reach my own VM system. The button on top only goes to my PM's and not my VM's.

Can we please have an easier way to get our own VM's?

Is that really too much to ask?

Uh, is it even setup? Adblocker doesn't block the PM or VM alerts. I don't see why it would block friend requests.

True ... true. I finally figured that out after two or three hours of trying this and that while seeing that pesky VM instant pop come up consistantly. I kept hitting my profile button on top thinking it will take me directly to my own profile screen so I can hit my VM tab. But I discovered it goes to the change my profile screen instead???? I would have thought it would go to my profile screen first and then if I WANTED to change my profile I would have to hit something else from there. Who changes their own profile on a daily basis?? confused

All I am really saying it would be nice to have a quick non-confusing way to get to the VM's for the simple minded folks.

Last night I did not know though. It took me while to get to it. I got frustrated is all.

I also noticed you cant change your own name here. On Spor's forum which is also an omgforum you can change it yourself.

huh when did they change that? I seen people change their name here on a weekly basis.

You must be on what your avatar is taking, since I have never seen anyone change their names, since it is impossible with the normal member's perms.

I am not going to name any names but i have seen it happen while I was racking up my 1000+ post before things changed for the Asylum. And I don't take drugs and very irritated at the implication.

I already set it to allow all to VM and PM me back when I joined. I work fast needless to say but this reminds me to check them and the friendrequests too. Thanks for the reminder Red. Smile

Thanks Spor for confirming what I said and that I was not indeed on drugs.

Not sure why your thanking me but to my knowledge no. If there is though it will be in the preferances where your able to set it to alert you by PM but I don't recall seeing one for VM and I'm not sure about friend request. Ok now the thanks applies here so no need to thank me again. Hehe
