Kingdom Gets Second Season

The second series of the TV anime "Kingdom" by the original Yasuhisa Hara, NHK BS premium to start in June has been determined.

In the Warring States Period of ancient China (475-221 BCE), Shin and Hyou are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of one day proving themselves on the battlefield. One day, however, Hyou is taken to the palace by a minister. Winding up on the losing side of a power-struggle, Hyou manages to return to the village, barely alive. Shin then meets a boy who closely resembles Hyou, Ei Sei. For now he is the king of Qin; later he will become the emperor Shi Huangdi.

Hell yes, now this is great news.

I was kind of sad when I realised that it only has 3 eps left since I wanted more warring states anime where the characters weren't alternate girl versions of themselves. But yay more Kingdom, I wonder how many eps this second season will be.
Now I know that a lot of people dislike the animation style used for this show, but do yourselves a favour and start watching it if you haven't already.

Yeah. The animation style has improved significantly as opposed to how it was in say episodes 1-10. Very good show. There's a lot of tactical strategy in the battles too. It's not your typical, "run in and destroy everything" shounen.
