Once again, I've made an elimination bracket for the Magical May elimination game this month. Last month's predictions were a little more eventful than the one prior to that. I will continue doing this each month for every elimination game we play. I hope as the eliminations go on they will become increasingly more popular.

Okay, so here's how it works. We will discuss upcoming matches and possible future matches by predicting outcomes with the bracket. We will do our best to try and make a perfect bracket prediction while discussing with each other our reasoning for these predictions. Discussing possible matches that might never happen can tend to be just as fun as discussing the current matches. The bracket will also help by giving everyone a clear image of who is up against who and what person they could be against next.

Perfect bracket submissions will be from right now until round one starts in this bracket. Each correct guess on the bracket will grant you one point. Each correct division prediction grants you one extra point (4 are possible in total). And a correct competition winner will also grant you one extra point. Points will be tallied until the end of the elimination. If you're going for an overall win and perfect pick, you must get every single guess correct and be the first person to submit the perfect bracket! Others will be allowed to submit bracket predictions if they have a late entry. But they will not be eligible for a perfect pick. Keep in mind, even if you do enter late you still have a chance to win with over all points.

Here's a breakdown of how the points are awarded. We're using a new point system and more things will give you extra points now.

Each Correct Guess = 1 point
Each Correct Division Prediction = 1 point
Correct Finals Winner = 1 Point

The following matches of the month will be decided as the days go on and we get further into the bracket. After round one I'll post an edited version of the bracket.

(Wasn't originally going to do predictions this month but a few people asked me to. I'm posting this on both forums to get as many brackets in as possible. If there is any arguments from this again we will start doing private submissions so nobody knows who predicted what character till the winner for that day is declared)

What sort of hell are some of these match ups, I mean Stocking vs Aladdin/ Kanade tachibana vs Fai d flourite/ sailor moon vs dark magician girl/ Yuuko vs Sakura.

I was expecting the victors to come from this group not be up against one another in the first round.
My Bracket is now done, that was some of the hardest decisions to make for this comp in a while [although I only participated last month for the first time].

@karma, by the rukh shouldn't the match ups be easier for them? I would imagine Aladdin going up against stocking may be upsetting there as lets face it there are plenty of users that prefer fanservice over plot, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing but........

@natsuru, yeah of course we have such little faith in that character since the one that it is up against does have a dub and the new site is because of dubs, so therefore there may be more people that have seen the other option.

The only fanservice I think people will go for is Rias and Dark Magician Girl. Stocking... is eh. I'll just say remember the ending of Panty and Stockings and see if they still like her.

Wouldn't that logic also apply to Aladdin as well?

Though I know the counter logic behind his popularity. I mostly had him lose in the first round just to get a rise out of Karma. Though it's still possible with all the close-minded dub lurkers that will undoubtedly appear in the new forums.
