i'll be playing Black Light Retribution all day on "Singles awareness day" besides, I have a cold so I can't go out even if I wanted to.

I'm just gonna throw this out there, but maybe they were going to set you up on a blind date? I don't know them, but it sounds like something that would happen. Granted if they let you go without telling you that, chances are that's not the case.
So I already talked about my orgo test and going to a valentine's day party on Saturday.... Probably should put "valentine's day party" in quotes because it's being held by NERD, which is bizarrely a primarily female club.... It's the tabletop club :p.

I plan on spending V-day watching anime if I can get anything to buffer (hate my ISP). Other than that I have nothing planned.

i know the feeling, i was always friend zoned in HS and after i would get out of a relationship, another of them would throw themselves at me, and becasue im shy, i almost always said yes. Ha ha that was my first thought but not the case. My friends know to introduce me to people well ahead of time. They just like to tease me sometimes when it comes to girls, all in good fun though. I feel comfortable declining the offer it would feel strange to me otherwise.
Not the only time it happened, they like to put their "trophy" on display and wait for my analysis afterward. It's a guy thing to get feedback. Just not on Valentines day for me.

Well given the fact I just moved hundreds of miles away just about a month ago and barely know anyone... Nope...

I been single 3 1/2 years. It's really just another day to me.

Its a sad excuse for a 'holiday' just to make people lose their minds, spend ungodly amounts of money on $40 teddy bears (what holiday isnt about spending $ and getting drunk now)
