My school's cultural festival is on Valentine's day. But unlike everyone I know, I don't have a sweetheart so I'll just be teasing the people who do.

I'm going to class and then spending the rest of the day playing games. It's got to be a tradition by now.

I'll be mulling over my life and how I become such a recluse all the while the girls I know are upset that I didn't ask them out. This is true and I know it!

I really don't know what I should do, I am "dating" a girl, but it is nowhere close to serious yet, and I honestly don't know if it would be too much to take her to a grand dinner or not. All we have done is go out to play putt putt, gone to see a local show for a band that just got singed with their first record deal, and crashed at her place with Chinese delivery and a move a few times. any help from the ladies on this thread?

If you think you are serious about her, then grand dinner. If you aren't sure, then movie.

Oh of related note, I'm going to a party on Saturday of that variety. Assuming I don't sleep past it after this week from hell is gone.

I'm just waiting for the candy discount for all the chocolate the day after.

I'm working on trying to get out of the friend zone with someone I use to work with. Kinda scared at the same time since she's older and has a 6 year old.
But then I do feel different around her then I have with anyone else I've known and I actually want her to be happy after everything she's been through.

Also past Valentine rejections don't make it any easier.

V, I'd caution you on Valentine's confessions. While they are great in the moment, women over think things. A day or week after, she is going to wonder if you just confessed to have a date and not be part of the Forever Alone club.

If you do decide to confess on the day, it might be a nice touch to get something for the child, too. Women with children always wonder if a man is going to appreciate and respect the bond between mother and child.

Well, we've already gone out once actually. We also talk pretty much everyday. I also ask about her kid everyday.
I'm also just nervous about losing the relationship we have, but I don't want to lose another, more meaningful relationship.
Also, was thinking since we both work during the week, I would see if she wanted to go out on Saturday. I don't know, my last relationship, she pretty much threw herself at me, which was weird. So, this is still kinda new on how to go about this yo me.

Did someone say it will soon be Valentines day? (Yes I know it will be just play along) Oh hell! I gotta hide. Akane-chan, Shizuka and Makoto are sure to try something on me but Sakura-san, what to get her? Wait I need to be in my male form but she doesn't like my male form and I want her to. While many know my RP secret just so you know my gender is not specified and I say any advice is better than none though Red did give you some advice but some more is what I know you'd like. Just keep in mind my gender is not specified.

Ok so you both have done things like go to a local band show and even crashed at her place while eating chinese food, well without really knowing you or her and without knowing how long you both have been dating (No need to say) I can only say this. You yourself should know deep down in your heart whether you want to or not but imo it is not too much to take her out to eat a grand dinner from what you've already said. Really though you should at least do something for her for valentines day. You don't have to do the grand dinner if you don't want to or if you feel its not right but just listen to your heart and do something for her that you feel and believe she'll like or better, love.
