You see Keiichi what Maddy asks is how is Sasami san not a "gay" anime in terms of themes, the "SHAFT one" was about what studio it is from.

You see I'm not particularly sure how to answer that, it is a weird series and I guess it could be possible for them to have a full blown yuri ending but I wouldn't entirely count on it. I haven't watched the latest ep yet [about to watch it now actually] but that I think was one scene from ep 10 [or at least the first one was]. So I would say that because it has only happened in like 1 ep that would be why it isn't "gay". Although there are other reasons that you might not like it, for example her brother is a pervert with his only intentions being for his sister.

If this isn't sufficient just ask for more info.

EDIT: Oh right and I kind of forgot, they are now at the standard bath house episode, not sure how this will turn out sine they have used some interesting censorship methods, eg the end theme the credits cover her, or sometimes no means was used and they were left out.

Im not knowledgeable in all the studios yet. So I didnt know.

Yeah I figured that's be your answer Maddy, and not that I'm justifying sibling relations but for the shrine they are from it is common place for them to marry and have a master servant relationship at the same time [the woman being the master]. Not that it matters but she doesn't have any romantic feelings toward him, so it is one sided. I'd say the romance tag is the lesser theme for this series too.

Oh and I was right, an interesting censorship technique was used, they decided to use an @ symbol in part.
