JAN/New Site Game Character Roster

Hey, I promised to finish and re-work the JAN: Realms game, but obviously we have new people here I have to add.

If I don't know you tell me who you are and make yourself a sprite here (then post it in this thread): Sprite Generator

Also tell me something about you, since I don't know you. People I do know, feel free to chime in.

I would put it here, so we don't need a billion threads. Remember that the writers decide what happens, but if you tells us your personality and relationship with the various community clubs/groups we'll try to work it in.

Originally there was something like 200 characters in the game based on real people with about 60-70 being playable. Your party depended on in game choices. We might have to tweak that, since it is hard to do, but I'll keep it as best I can, no promises.

(As an Admin I can guarantee Sporadic will be playable for certain routes, for instance).

I'm tossed because there's so many good combinations on the generator. I'll choose tomorrow.

I think we should definitely leave the old characters in as they are for now but write into the plot a reason a lot of them leave and replace them with the new characters. For example we could right in an in game equivalent to the megavideo take down and have it so that the city is damaged and we lost people. Even if they didn't leave until the JD shut down it will still be a way to remove a few. Or there are other reasons you could give for them leaving. That is assuming that by reworking you meant removing characters and replacing them.

Something like this will certainly happen, probably midway through the game.

For a general update I've reconfigured the ending of the Naruto world from the slapped-together one into a more suitable final boss fight (where you get to choose what side you're on, naturally).

Thanks, I think I'd already put you in the game (as a just made sprites for people who were inactive or didn't respond) but it would be easy to replace whatever I used for you with this sprite.

I believe I was around during the Dubbinz merge though I never really visited Dubbinz; I was always a member of JD.

Part of the forums I most frequent? Well it used to be Hall of the Elders for a while though I branched out to off-topic, the SOS brigade and the asylum a lot.

So this will continue, thats great news as it would have been a waste if all of this hard work didn't have the opportunity to finish the way it was meant to.

Well I'm not that new the October of 2011 was when I joined, I just doubt anyone would have made a sprite for me as I wasn't that large a part in the community. I think it is an honour to even be asked for a sprite for this game, keep up the good work everyone.

I think I like your other one better but whatever

BTW for anyone who can't get their sprite quite the way they want it you could modify it a little in Photoshop or make a request for someone to do so. I did that with my sprite


I was trying to make it look like my avatar as much as possible. But custom Sprites are good as they help make each one look more unique. So if you know any photo shop I'd suggest making a few custom changes.
