Watchdogs and Infamous top my list. Intrigued by The Watcher (Braid dev) and Deep Down (capcom).

Day 1 buy? Unlikely. Still a probable buy, but not until price drop or slim version.

I'm sure there's stuff saved for E3, like the console itself. What I'm worried about, it how they didn't touch on what media it uses, or if it's download only. im excited, consoels have been so pathetic, the PS4 can actually stack up to a low-mid end end PC, know what the means for PC? GOD MODE!!!!

for real though, the last consoles used a max of 500mb of ram, the PS4 has 8GB!!! that 16x more ram than the PS3, also, the processor is an octo-core meaning better optimization for those of us with more than 4 cores, meaning 6 and 8 core CPUs will become more prevalent and will benchmark higher on games-to-be.

the GPU is standard stuff, not much to stack up to a PC, but regardless, still a big leap from the PS3, if playstation sets the standard unlike the weaker xbox did last gen we could see some pretty FREAKING AWSOME GRAPHICS on PC

As someone who's owned every Sony console and has been playing from the beginning, this is beautiful. They were able to capture excitement with nostalgia. Man, lately Sony's been able to keep things secret, AND now their marketing team is.. getting something right? I don't recognize this Sony.

Please don't kill all this momentum with a terrible E3..

Good luck Microsoft.. There's no way I can conceivably see them topping the PS4 in terms of hardware.
Microsoft always has been better with services though..
Fuck it, I'll end up getting both consoles again because I'm like that.

Microsoft is already down in the gutter.
I heard the new XBOX is online only and that you have to enter in a code to register your games, meaning no renting games, no buying used games, etc.

Down the fucking gutter with that one.

I thought Sony is against used games too?
I can see it being a problem with some people, but I have this thing about not buying used games. I like to support game developers.
But regardless, I can't remember being this excited over ANY product as I am with the PS4. My purchase of Vita will pay off! (eventually).

Sony patented a system which could be used to stop people using used games/movies but we have yet to see if they will implement this in the PS4.

What really surprised me was that we didn't get to see what the actual console looks like, not a shell or anything. I suppose that really doesn't matter though.

The used games thing would block you from getting a new console? :S

But yeah it doesn't surprise me that it wouldn't require internet seeing as some of Sony's exclusives are the best Single Player games out there.

I mostly buy used, can't afford new all the time unless it is a game I really want. I probably would have bought one eventually but now more likely. Very Happy

I've heard that the system will come with a headset as well, and thank god for the stereo headset jack in the controller. Playing late at night or early in the morning has always had to be on very low volume.

With the move bar on the controller, the Eye sensor (I'm guessing) coming with it, and a headset bundled, it looks like a complete package right out of the box. I'm expecting this to be pretty pricey.

Its a bummer, but I can understand why. If the internal architectural is so different, then the games have to be emulated which takes up far more power.

I doubt they will create a completely new structure to replace PSN. If they did they better repay their customers some how or you can be sure a lot of customers will give them hell. But it all likely hood they would probably give users credits or something because I don't think even Sony could possibly be stupid enough to just shut down a service most of their customers poored a lot of money into. They might exclude reverse compatibility to cut costs and make you keep both gen systems but that is completely different from flushing people's money down the drain like that.

I really doubt it. They're pushing Vita connectivity, and it uses PSN.

About the PSN games, I understand. I'm sure PS1 and PS2 (probably at least) will be playable, as PS1 is playable on everything including PSP. Full fledged PSN games are PS3 games, and since the CPU is a different architecture it would be hell to try to emulate.
