It was announced the anime will continue into the last arc. It was said to be in spring first but not sure now.

Yeah that was confirmed. But considering the last we heard from Kubo he was going to keep it going for 10 more years who knows what will really happen.

They need to come up with more shounens the "Big Animes" are almost gone, the only one left is One Piece. If they do make another "Big Anime" I wonder what it would be like?

One Piece and Naruto are still airing. Toriko is on its way to becoming a big shounen and Fairy Tail would have been one if they had continued it. Well maybe Fairy Tail Best will be one.

There is a manga currently publishing that i have very high hopes for if they ever make it into an anime and actually follow the manga like they did with the big 3.

People who read the manga told me it could become very populair if it did get an anime.

But it was the 90s and early 00s that were the years of the great shounen.

He said he HAS content for 10 years, whether they actually let him continue or not, we'll see.

I wish they would've just done a big filler arc so that the anime wouldn't catch up to the manga. Bleach was still popular so i'm not sure why it just ended similar to how fairy tail anime is ending..

I think it was a combination of two things. One being that we've seen so many fillers already and going right back into another one so soon would just anger the fans again. And the other was because he had an end date planned for the manga already when the show ended. I'm sure we'll see something like Inuyasha how they stopped it near the end and came back with The Final Act.
