I thought the samurai was a huge tree at first until I saw the image you used O:

I agree though. I like the still version more. Probably because the image quality, but the gif is really good as well. I just like fancy colors xD

The gif does seem overkill on the image, the effects seem to draw the attention away from the focal point and look pixely to the right. The still image is great tho, the colors are fantastic and it has a really nice "mystic" likeness to it.

It's a bit saturated, especially to the right :/

Agreed ^.^ i was thinking about that, however the sky isn't necessarily bad. It just has more potential.
