Locking Threads Empty Locking Threads

I think it would be a good idea if the maker of a thread could lock their own thread. (I know this is a feature in VBulletin, not sure about the new site or this one)

If it gets abused then take it away.

It's not a feature on this site. But I think having it if we get a VBulletin board would be a cool idea.

If you set user permissions to allow users to lock their own threads, that means they are able to unlock their own threads. That means if a mod locks it, they can unlock it. At least this has been a past experience.

Edit: with Vbulletin at least.

It would be as easy as giving an infraction for reopening a thread that a mod locked.
