Would you guys be willing to do a second calendar when the new site goes up? The general anime months are fine but something to commemorate the new site and mascot.

Hmmm.... is there an easy way to turn this into a regular Win7 gadget or vice/versa?

I don't mind at all. I can use 99% of the INI I had made for this calendar. We will have to make new graphics (obviously) but that's the fun of it.

Sorry, this can't be done. Their are two reasons for this; 1. I don't know how to code a Win7 gadget. Also gadgets are not supported on Win8, the current OS of my computer, so I would have no way of testing it. 2. (and this is the main reason) The current version of Rainmeter is free and compatible will Windows XP (SP3) through Win8. That is why I choose to make it a rainmeter skin.

I guess I could (corner calendars are a lot easier to code). The only problem would be that I'd need completely different graphics to go into the corner for each month. The other problem is each year (your example does not have a year), month, and day (both number and word) is its own graphic.

I understand the 1st reason but the 2nd is easily fixed. This program restore the original gadget capabilities of Win7 on Win8. I am using it on my Win8 right now:

(I would use Rainmeter but I like Imp's CPU meter gadget)
- Spoiler:
Also it can be easily uninstalled through Add/Remove programs

Can't use both your Win8 gadget program and Rainmeter? I used both gadgets and Rainmeter on my old Win7 desktop.
On a different note; I did a little looking, and the Rainmeter INI file I have can not be turned into a gadget. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for you.

Re: Justdubs 2013 digital (rainmeter) calender Support
I probably could use both at the same time but I just don't like having to many things running at startup.
Oh well, I was just curious. Thought it might be easily compatible or something. Thanks for looking into it though. Maybe I'll try to find someone who can turn Imp's CPU Meter into a Rainmeter gadget instead.
Edit: Someone on another forum gave me Imp's CPU Meter converted for Rainmeter. It's not as smooth as the original but oh well.
Is there any way to make a CPU meter refresh quicker?

yes but it would be better if we select a more appropriate size for a rainmeter lol

What do you mean? It's very simple to resize the calender. It's still legible.

If we do this, will it be managed by an admin? or will I be managing it again?

I think it would be better to keep it community managed.

I think each person that participated last time should have their former position if they still want it. I would like to make one of the months and help Joshier make a template for everyone to follow. I only mention the template so the new rainmetet file will run smooth.

Yeah I think using a template might be a good idea for this... Everyone is welcome to contribute base ideas for it of course
