Vertical avatars
so i was thinking since we have a new forum and all could the mods possibly implement vertical avatars that most gfx's forums use instead of just the default box-sized ones? its kinda getting old and boring. Vertical avies are much more cooler to look at IMO, here's an example:

Re: Vertical avatars
Well, at this forum we can use them. My last avatar was vertical here.

Re: Vertical avatars
The height is currently 200. Is that not enough? I know the one you posted is 300. But in my opinion that seems like a little much.

Re: Vertical avatars
Horizontal is where it's at.
But seriously, it's hard to find vertical pictures as opposed to horizontal or square in the first place (unless you make them yourself). I agree that vertical is a better profile, but I like seeing some backgrounds.

Re: Vertical avatars
Vertical avatars are cool but I don't have a problem with the current limit.

Re: Vertical avatars
The size limit currently has the width and height proportions to use vertical avatars. They may be a bit small, but size isn't really what's important.

Re: Vertical avatars
you do realize you dont HAVE to use the MAXIMUM size right? the maximum 150x200, but, your avatar could be 10x200 for all it matters, just resize that image up there to make the height 200

Re: Vertical avatars
too*
That said, holy cow Walshy (Or should I call you Kamn now?) Those avatars are amazing.
@ Topic:
I think vertical avatars look great, but there's nothing wrong with square ones either.
