Favorite Horror Anime

Don't have a fav horror and just one question. How can something be a horror when it's job is to scre me and if it doesn't then why the hell is it called a horror? I hardly ever get scared from animes if at ever so there fore I rule that there is no horror anime.

I'm pretty sure anything with gore falls under horror.

Then it should be called gore and not horror. WEll if I have to say one that I REALLY liked then Elfin Lied.

If Hell Girl qualifies, then I'll have to go with that. Otherwise Eflen Lied, there are a lot that I haven't seen yet though.

Sadly nothing ever really scares me in the traditional sense. If anything I fear character deaths more then anything else.

I really don't like to watch horror anime.

With that said I will stipulate that Higurashi is killer. Before that was Elfen Lied.

However, come weeks back I finished up 'High School of the Dead.' Please don't tell me Zombies aint horror. Anyways I found that show absolutely killer.

Yeah that one was great aswell. Although the ecchi got really annoying That might be my favorite aswell

^I thought it was more of a comedy than a horror show...still a great one though. (jokes) It was pretty funny tbh. It wasn't really [i]scary[/] per se.

Another is a good choice but that is also really psychological too....

Ah yes. HOTD. Now that's one hell of an anime. Still waiting for season two. As for the ecchi. Only that bath ep. and the one after had too much ecchi and by that I mean it was pointless ecchi that was shoved in my face. Thank God it stopped and went back to the usual ecchi.

I like Ghost Hunt. I don't really watch anything from the Horror genre. If I do, It's by accident, or it doesn't look too scary.

HOTD is one of my all time favorites. It's so good that it doesn't have to be "complete" to be good xD
