I will never get them all, since I will most likely just focus on Yuela on this playthrough, then perhaps go through another NG+ for Servalwi to get the rest of her clothes.

I got through Masa's route in Pure Love the other day, and now on Sou's. Didn't like Masa TBH. Probably because I prefer Kana. But yeah. I also got the yaoi side story to Love Academy. I want to die. It is horrendous. Koyonpletes next human/vampire/okami game better be better. (lol im the only one on the forum that plays otomes and phone vns why am i even talking)

It's fine.
There are a few otome games that looked interesting that I wanted to play, but never really got around to.
I wouldnt count Key stuff as otome games, but I think Little Busters, Clannad, Rewrite, etc. would be good to play.

I'm currently playing Steins;Gate. Very good VN
But there's a bug. The game freezes if you open Mayuri's mail from the 8/3 (the second one).
Do not open that mail! :D
/Problem solved/ Just read a little further and then read the mail. Don't read it immediately! :D
Also, when I load the file the spaces between the letters become black...

I was replaying the Heaven's Feel route of Fate/Stay Night a few weeks ago, and I was planning to start Fate/Hollow Ataraxia afterwards. But then classes restarted for the semester, and it's been on hold ever since.
As expected, Heaven's Feel is seriously long, but it's much more symbolically and thematically significant than I thought. Also, I must conquer Rider in F/HA.

heavens feel is so... dramatically different from the other 2, especially shiro as a character,

- this arc portrays him more as a realist, than an idealist, idk how far you have gotten, but archer knows whats going on, probably because heavens feel is the life that he actually lived.
also, i first experienced Unlimited blade works in movie form, and not VN form...anyone else not get Archers true identity until they blatantly told you? (the VN made its pretty damn obvious) i still have alot of questions about the characters in HF and what they were doing in the other 2 arcs

also, upon reading the list of VN's the Key club posted, i see that there is a VN AFTER "tomoyo after"? is this true? or am i crazy? after i run out of DLed anime im going to get back into VNs again, i thoroughly enjoyed fate/stay night and shuffle, although, i didnt get to finish all 3 story's from it. i loved falling asleep reading them

The one after Tomoyo after is Little Busters!, Then Kud Wafter, Rewrite, and Rewrite Harvest Festa!

Yeah I know how to route plays out. I did say I'm replaying it. I love the big change from the usual F/SN, but I can't get anyone else to play it, nor is there an anime on it. I wish DEEN would just let ufotable get the rights to make an anime on it. Then we could have awesomeness like this.

- Actually, Archer's life is most like the Fate route. He has to remain an idealist by the end of the HGW and up until he dies because he ends up betraying his beliefs when he becomes a Counter Guardian; he can't betray them sooner than that, so he's not from Heaven's Feel. But the reason Archer seems to have so much foresight on Shirou's situation is because Shirou is following his footsteps. Archer warns that Shirou will surely be punished for betraying the ideals he's held for so long because Archer did the exact same thing.
Unfortunately I found out Archer's identity back when I just completed the Fate/Stay Night anime, since apparently a ton of people were saying the spoiler everywhere. Rider does stuff in the other routes, and Sakura lets Shinji fight for her. This is the natural state without any abnormalities, but the Shadow screws everything up in Heaven's Feel. So this means that the stimulus separating HF from the other routes is either Sakura getting a connection to the Great Holy Grail (which I think was possible from the start, so I'm pretty sure this isn't different from other routes) or Sakura getting a stronger will to live and be selfish (which I think is the reason, since the choices in the beginning that separate the other routes are all making Sakura happy).

that was an awsome video, ever feel like even though berserker is made out to be a total bad ass, he like....the weakest one of them all?

- I think Sakura already had a connection to the holy grail before the VN even started, in between the times of Fate/Zero and FSN. Zoken got a piece of the broken grail Saber destroyed, and put that in her, which is why she was essentially, a 2nd, incomplete, holy grail. What you said about Sakura becoming selfish seems about right as i think she only wanted to protect Shriou, but was distraught to find out she had to fight him.
i guess i can see how she might have passed Rider to Shinji, but, i remember she was using command seals to temporarily give her to him, upon which he got a book for command her. He had this book in the other lines....so, im not sure he had any command seals. and if he didnt, he could have easilly gotten some to control Goldylocks from Kotomine as he had a ton left over from Fate/Zero. But who can say that Shinji was actually ever in control of him to begin with?
and then my biggest question, Hassan? i know assassin was used as a summoning catalyst for him, but, why wasnt he summoned in the other 2 lines? it also happened so early in the story, i cant find a reason for it to have not happened in the other 2 lines. and what was Zoken doing the whole time? i guess he just bowed out? he seemed pretty determined so i cant imagine he just said (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

- Nah, Berserker just had bad match-ups. Fate and Heaven's Feel he goes against Saber, whose Excalibur nevermind Caliburn has enough firepower to take out his Nine Lives. Unlimited Blade Works he goes against Gilgamesh, whose really good against divine entities and has tons of firepower as well. He would've had better luck against all the other Servants (vs. Rider is a toss-up though). Take Lancer for example. Lancer isn't firepower-based; he's deadly with precision instead of huge power. This works really well against pretty much every Servant (ignoring Saber), but the precision of Gae Bolg wouldn't be useful against Berserker.
Sakura did have a connection to the Grail from the start, but it's possible that she didn't have the dominant connection. There are two explanations as to how Sakura gets the Servant souls instead of Ilya. It's either because Sakura gets a stronger pull than Ilya or because the Shadow kills and devours the Servants. If the former is the reason, then it's possible for Sakura to simply not have had a stronger pull than Ilya in UBW and Fate, and this could explain why the Shadow didn't come about in the other routes. The latter seems more likely since all the Servants that Sakura gets are coincidentally also swallowed by the Shadow, but that doesn't mean that they have to be swallowed to be pulled to Sakura instead of Ilya.
He didn't have the Command Spell the other times. Sakura was always the Master. But the thing is that Rider didn't die early on in Heaven's Feel, so she eventually had the chance to go back to Sakura. She ALMOST dies, but she doesn't; she's barely breathing and can't move, but Zouken gets her out before she actually disappears. In Fate, she's obliterated by Excalibur, and in UBW she dies somehow apparently. And I'm pretty sure Shinji never got Command Spells from Kotomine, even in UBW. I think he just "gave" Gilgamesh to him and Gilgamesh followed Shinji around acting like his Servant.
As for True Assassin... I don't know. To be honest he's the biggest WTF for me. I don't know if True Assassin himself randomly took over Assassin, if the Shadow defeated Assassin to create him, or if Zouken defeated Assassin and used him to summon True Assassin. I think the 2nd choice is the most likely, since I don't think Zouken would've been able to completely ambush and overpower Assassin like he was. The Shadow also was in Ryudou right after Assassin died, so yeah I think that's the reason. I don't know how the Shadow would create True Assassin or why it would though.
As for Zouken's inaction in the other routes, as I said, the natural state was Sakura letting Shinji fight for her. Zouken did not plan to participate in the war. He had other plans apparently, and he accepted when Sakura asked to not fight. But the Shadow messed everything up. It wasn't Zouken who got her to fight; he just followed along, really.

Ah, ok, i was under the impression that those were essential "fake" riders, hence their reduced powers while being controlled by Shinji.
and yea, out of all your suggestions, i cant see any of them being entirely correct but your idea makes the most sence out of it.
HF is byfar the most confusing one of them all, yet the most engaging. not to mention the big WTF when Ilya kinda just points out that
HF i think is the "true" ending to FSN, everything, (excluding the other 2 arcs) kinda just feels..."finished" especially if you take fate/zero into consideration. where as if you watched Fate/Zero and then any of the other 2 arcs you will have a big confusion about Sakura, as she is a big part in F/Z.
i wasnt very big on reading VN's, it actually took me 2 years to finish the entire FSN VN, i read about 80% of Fate, then dropped it, but never forgot about, it held onto all the files through multiple formatting, and even transferred it over to my Desktop when i got it. i can honestly say, i glad i did, reading heavens feel was definitely the most engaging read of them all
also, in HF, "dark" berserker was beat my shiro and his funny arm, which, is just plain rediculus

- Nah, it's still Rider. She's just being supplied mana from Shinji instead of Sakura, and thus her power is much weaker. It's similar to how Saber becomes much stronger when Rin becomes her Master instead of Shirou in UBW.
As for Dark Berserker losing, that's not really unusual. Dark Berserker is actually much weaker than normal Berserker since it's after he got hit by a full force Black Excalibur. That unfortunately makes Shirou less badass, but it does explain why Archer in his entirety couldn't take down normal Berserker yet Shirou could take down Dark Berserker with only his arm.
