Steins;Gate. I was going to recommend that one to you. I have now seen the first ep and I can tell you I really like it so far and it certainly has mystery and sci-fi. Seems mature too I think.

Watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica ep 3 now.

I've recently finished Steins;Gate. I thought it was really good. It had intro episodes for the characters (season 1), threw in amazing conflict, and had an ending that tied up the loose ends.

I should also warn that Ghost Hunt is the scariest anime I've seen. And I don't think Jay is mistaken, it's just taken out of context because his last post was so long ago (I can see how you could get that confused).

Now if he's watching Puella Magi dubbed, God help him.

Haha, yeah. That's what I thought the first time I read it, but I was privileged with the knowlege that we had gotten him decided on Puella Magi the page before.

And it's just that abhor that dubbing job. I couldn't watch the full first episode.

Whatch u talkin bout? -_0 I have never watched the sub Puella before and I LOVE the dub Puella. It is my #1 anime along with Kampfer.

Hahaha. Say what you want, but the dubbing was amateurish (I thought it was a fan dub the first time I heard it). I mean, if it doesn't bother you, by all means watch it. It's just like someone watching the subbed One Piece and then going back to the 4Kids dub for me.

I hope Funimation fixes it.

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinions even if compairing the dub Puella to 4Kids did hurt. (I don't believe that to be true one bit)

No I would believe them to be true about Madoka, I only watched the dub and it was absolutely horrible, I wish I had of watched the sub after 5 mins of the dub. But I stuck with it and that is why I am able to say that I hated that show in general, it is basically marketed as the darkest magical girls anime and it was still too childish for me. To me everything was crap about it, except for the witches labyrinths as I like weird animation styles.

Also since 4kids and one piece was mentioned, I have to honestly say that I prefer 4kids dubbing over funi's as some of the 4 kids voices for villains were quit good.

Okay yes back on topic, I don't know what to watch next as I have so many options on a document listed. So instead of them I was hoping someone would be able to suggest an anime that is unexpectedly good, and also quite bloodthirsty. Something along the lines of Another would be good, and obviously MAL is in my sig.

@Roy, Umineko is on my list of too many options [which I didn't supply] so it is still a possibility but I was hoping for other options too as I feel the need to watch something bloodthirsty and I doubt one series will be enough [I recently watched Elfen lied and that wasn't really enough either].

Any other ideas?

Hmm only 5 times huh, well that makes it more acceptable to me, I thought that it was a reoccurring thing that happened like 3 times an episode. Wait are these durations long or short? Because for me to actually start this they better only be short.

@Roy, I've heard some good things about Blood+ but never felt curious enough to start it, although 50 eps seems a bit long and it is on my massive list to so perhaps I'll leave this there for now too.

Blood + is an alright anime just try to get past the first few episodes it picks up eventually into something pretty awesome.
