NBA Playoffs
It's that time of the year where I drop everything I'm doing and get glued in on all things basketball. If I don't post for a while don't freak out or anything, I'm still here but most likely suffering from constant stress and lots of yelling.
So with that said let's go Heat!

Re: NBA Playoffs
God of Sport made his appearance in this thread.
Knicks had a tough match, but luckily everything went well in the end. After the game I am pretty happy that the game was close, because this way all the old guys from Celtics had to play a lot and they won't be able to keep up with JR Smith and Melo in the series. I expect 4-2 Knicks win
2nd game was also a tough one. As a Melo fan, I still have positive feelings towards Nuggets. Therefore I was really happy to see Andre Miller's game winning shot! Usually it's a jump shot for the game winner, but this time it was a lay up and damn awesome one! I hope GSW will keep up such pace, which make the series really interesting. Oh and I expected both teams to score more points, I guess they were a bit nervous

Re: NBA Playoffs
I expect the Knicks to beat the Celtics as well since Melo is on a good roll and the Celtics are too beat up this season.
Andre Miller had a career day! Tough for David Lee, Golden State is in a bind I think. Curry had a bad start and finished strong but now a lot is riding on him. Surprised that this game was low scoring since defense is not both teams strogest attribute. (proved it in the end though! A layup for the game winner. A layup. LAYUP!

Re: NBA Playoffs
I find it ironic how Nuggets having an amazing defender Iguodala and block shot master McGee are letting everyone to score on them a lot. On the other hand, that's how coach Carl always played - score more than the other team.
I am still waiting for the news about Lee... I hope it's nothing serious. He's a really important player in the GSW. Pretty much Curry and Lee are the main ones.

Re: NBA Playoffs
Lee does down with hip injury : Warriors forward David Lee was forced to leave Saturday's first-round matchup against the Nuggets with a hip injury. Lee was knocked to the ground while driving to the basket early in the fourth quarter of the 97-95 defeat and seemed to land hard on his side. He was immediately removed from the game and diagnosed with a probable right hip flexor strain, the team would later announce. X-rays taken were negative, but Lee is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Sunday.
I hope he won't miss much...

Re: NBA Playoffs
David Lee is out so that would hurt Golden State big time.
Heat won! Yeah! Pretty convincing too I thought the game might become a grind fest since the Bucks usually give us problems in the past. Jennings and Ellis actually had good games backing up their pregame talk but the team as a whole had a sorts of problems scoring.
Rockets get trampled by the Thunder. I'm starting to feel silly to think the Rockets might get an upset win. Maybe I don't want to see the Thunder in the finals either
Hopefully some team would get a road win next time so we can over analyze how the underdog can win. (Not the Heat though I'll just start to panic! )

M'hmmm... I haven't been on in a couple days because of the Playoffs, haven't watched any anime either
Basketball is like cocaine to me O_O been my favorite sport for as long as I can remember. ^_^
BUT yeah, the games air at the same time I usually have the spare time to watch anime... The first round of the playoffs has so many games though, once we get to the semi's I should be more active

NATE FUCKING ROBINSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That match was seriously insane.. Bulls won 142 - 134 after 3rd overtime. They were like 107/109 - 95 behind in 4th quarter. Nate Robinson went on an amazing streak and scored almost all points to tie it from there and get an overtime.
Bulls leading the series 3-1 now.

Re: NBA Playoffs
Lol Nate Robinson. That guy is the most annoying player to play against because of random moments like that. I really expected better from the Nets but once again Deron Williams disappears.
Knicks are going to steamroll and so are the Heat. Does anyone care about the Pacers and Hawks?
Lakers are full of fail in the Playoffs (no surprise here) and Denver and GS is looking competitive.
Russell Westbrook......nuff said

Re: NBA Playoffs
Lakers lost all their main guards... no chance left at all.
I am interested in Pacers team.
Knicks fuck yeah!
LOL at Jennings saying we will win 4-2 vs Heat before PO.
RW injury means good game vs Rockets
Nuggets and GSW? Awesome games, love the pace!

Re: NBA Playoffs
Playing the Pacers is a pain in the butt. I hate those guys with their physical play (good basketball though can't deny that). Knicks would play the winner of that series right? Please someone crush the Pacers for me
Wait did I root for the Knicks? eww I feel dirty.
Heat-Knicks anyone? I shouldn't jump ahead like that but the thought sounds more exciting then.....Heat-No Rose Bulls/Nets.
