Cinema Fridays

We brainstormed in skype after talking about Shaun of the Dead and Karma wanted to do movies on Fridays. So we're gonna see how this works out for us tomorrow. We're gonna be watching Shaun of the Dead. if there's any luck and enough enthusiasm for the activity we'll try and do it every Friday.

Anyone else wanna watch tomorrow or think the idea is good?

I think the idea is good, but this really should be something that's incorporated into the Film Club as an official activity as this is exactly the kind of thing it focuses on...

This is kinda different since the film club doesn't watch their movies as a group. Plus, having it attached to another club just gives me problems of not being able to manage it. Same thing happened with Anime Saturdays in the Anime Cafe. I originally asked natsu if I could tag it along in there and he seemed hesitant.

I'll talk to BK about seeing if he wants to me to host their clubs movie in the livestream on specific dates. Other than that, I'd like this to a separate activity. They don't automatically have to have the idea incorporated into their club just because they watch movies. That would be like giving all the sig requests to the design club just because they do graphic design.

You guys got me thinking about making my own commercials for the livestream XD. I'm almost at enough content on there to run it for a full day uninterrupted. I can make a schedule out and everything.

I like this idea

We're gonna partner this with the Film club to give everyone in the film club an alternative to watch as a group instead of downloading the movie. Totally optional though, everyone in the film club can still watch how they would like to.

Aside from hosting the film clubs movie on the stream we'll do a different movie once a week if we have the time and people willing to do it.

We'll be watching Shaun of the Dead tomorrow around 3 or 4 PM PST. Anyone is welcome to join us.
