What we'll be doing

We're going to vote on an anime series, watch it, and then discuss it. It's like a book club, but for watching anime. Sounds fun, right?

Our purpose

The reason I'm reviving this concept is because I'd like to be able to watch an anime and then discuss it with the other members of the forum. Hopefully everyone can watch the selected series, have fun, and then discuss it on this thread.

How it'll work out

Members of the group will PM me the series they'd like to watch and the first five I receive will be the nominated series. Members of the group will then vote for the series they'd most like to watch on a separate thread. Each member will select TWO options on the poll and no more than two. When the anime series has been decided I'll send out a PM to the club members informing them to begin watching the given series.

Watching schedule

The watching schedule is very simple, every week we will watch 9 episodes of a given series, or 1-2 episodes per day. At the end of that week we'll begin discussion on those nine episodes and start the next episode set the day after. It's preferable that everyone maintains the pace of one or two episodes a day, but if you can't hold yourself back that's alright. Just don't start discussing those nine episodes until the week is over. Extra time will be allotted for series that have specials, OVA's, or movies.

TV Series

Week One: Episodes 1-9
Week Two: Episodes 10-18
Week Three: Episodes 19-26

Movies

Up to 1 Week for a movie.

Rules & Regulations

You can't nominate a given series twice in a row.

As a member of this club you are required to watch the given series unless you have already seen the series.

If you don't like the series we are currently watching don't just drop it, finish it with the rest of us and explain to us why you dislike it. Then we can at least have a discussion on why you didn't like it and why we agree/disagree with you.

Please only reply to this thread if you want to join the club or if you're talking about the series the group is watching.

Only join this club if you are willing to follow the rules, actively participate, and have fun.

A few days ago, We all wanted to watch A-channel so Maddy asked Knight if it was OK, which Knight accepted so there was no poll this time

I did mention something about remaking clubs other people created. Since Supernatural was leading this on the last forum this thread will be deleted if he doesn't confirm that he wants you to remake it.

Hey so I see now why Natsu asked me if it was okay if he created this club.

Yeah I say it is fine if he wished to be the leader, I was only the temporary leader until rainshadow or Pulp returned, now since JD is shutting down and there is no evidence of them being able to find the new location I guess it is fine for him to lead this club. After all Natsu is a reliable member of JD too, so this new leadership is fine by me just as long as I am the Vice leader so I can help with anything that may arise.
