Are you rendering them with the pen tool or are you just using the magic wand tool?

I see a couple spots you can get with the eraser. Looks good overall though.
I generally use the wand with the eraser, unless someone else has a better technique. (Never tried the pen)

Polygon tool+magic eraser+background eraser tool

pentool is the best for rendering out characters. If you're uber lazy then combine the magic wand tool with some feather modifier, or go Select>color range then pick the color that you want to be left out and adjust the settings. Layers>matting>defringe is also good at automatically removing the white stuff on the edges.

Tomoyo is helping me out too.
Used to all I knew to use was magic eraser. Im slowly getting used to PS
But there is this thing with CS6 where it keeps blinking black. I thought it was just me but apparently its something with PS running on Win8
