Makoto Yuki (the man formerly know as Minato Arisato). He's the main character of the the Persona 3 game (and eventual anime movie).
Also an avatar I use quite frequently when applying my name (for obvious reasons).

If the name itself sounds familiar, odds are that you're thinking of someone else.

AMD has released the specs of its latest monster graphics card, the Radeon HD 7990. Its not for the casual gamer, sure — but by the sounds of things, if you’re minded to buy one it will tear through your games with some fairly insane processing power.

The HD 7990 has a lot going for it. It packs over 8 terraflops of processing power — over twice as much as the Radeon HD 7970 and four times more than the PlayStation 4′s GPU. That is some grunt. In fact, it’s swept along by a mind-boggling 8.6 billion transistors. Also tucked away in its frame is 6GB of RAM, PCI Express 3.0 support and a new cooling system (which apparently makes it 3dB quieter than the NVIDIA Titan and 10dB quieter than the GTX 690).

Radeon claims that those specs combined give rise to a graphics card that pump out any current game at 4K resolution and maximum detail setting. To prove that, it bundles Tomb Raider, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite and five other games with the card. But be warned: to get the kind of frame rates you actually want to play with you’ll need a pretty heft CPU to complement the card.

But then, if you’re planning to buy this thing, that probably isn’t too much of a problem, because when it goes on sale in two weeks time it will run you about £750. For an individual computer component, that is a lot of cash — but then, maybe Crysis 3 at 4K is worth it.

hardware can be upgraded over time, but something like physx just wont exist on AMD cards
