MAL Auto Updater

Just downloaded the MAL auto updater. After you configure the set by step settings it will detect when you watch an anime and auto update your list for you. The catch is you have to download your anime in order for this to work. But lucky for me I do download everything anyways. There's also a multitude of other features and plugins. Series checker, which checks your completed list and informs you of movies, ova or other series form a certain show that you might have missed. A season browser so you can check up on a following season, currently airing schedule so you know when your shows come out and a torrent manager which informs you when shows become available for download.
I'll post some feedback when I play around with it some more.

Says no media player found and there is no option for VLC 2.x

I had it few years ago, but then I got sick downloading... And I think not all downloads work.

Lol this is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo old. xD
I tried tinkering with it, but I streamed all the time. Now I might go back and tinker with it again since I'm mostly torrenting...but oh well. It's not very hard to update your list manually.

be nice if they could create a streaming version. But I can imagine how hard that would be. Maybe instead of an auto updater there could be a plug in that would appear as an extension Icon that you could click on to easily update your list while you're watching the anime. So rather than having to go to your page to update you'd just click a couple quick buttons.

I always download everything and I'm really lazy about manually keeping my list up-to-date, so this is really good for me.

Sounds cool but it must work perfectly. Im already downloading all my anime again nowadays cuz the quality is just so good... I might try it.

So? It doesn't matter how old it is if there was no topic present for it.
It isn't very hard to update it manually, you're right. But that's a poor excuse to have just because you can't get it to work correctly. It has so many other cool functions too.

The option for VLC 1 works on 2. That's what I selected and it works just fine.

That would be extremely hard to code and wouldn't be very practical considering opening your MAL and updating the episode is only 2 clicks away.

hmm i guess its time to play with it again. the downloading, i've been liking it.
