Whats your favorite game Genre?

What is your favorite game genre? I like action/adventure and survival horror in particular.

Hack 'n' Slash and Stealth.

In this order. RPG, FPS, Action & Adventure.

This is a tough one. Lately I go for anything intriguing or unique, but in the past my favourite genre was RPG.

Easily rpg. I also like some turn based strategy and real time strategy games.

RPGs and Platformers that have a good amount of action.

Rpg and fighting

RPGs. I'll forgive a lot in a game as long as it presents me with a good and compelling story.

i dont really have a favorite i'll bounce around and so long that game its self is good i'll play it

RPG's. Stealthy Games. Card Games. TPS games

RPG, MMORPG, Fighting, MOBA, Strategy, Puzzel, Horror, and Card games (plus Mahjong).

Favorite game genre huh?........Mine would be Halo

lol, I guess I like bits of FPS, RTS, Adventure, Action, and the genre that includes an engaging storyline ans/or gameplay.
(and I like to watch people play horror games like Slender or Amnesia)

^This + TPS, RTS, MMORTS, TPS, Indie, Rhythm, Board games, LARP(Loads of fun when you're not tripping on the same ditch repeatedly ^^), and Table/Floorboard Games like D&D and Warhammer along with any hybridization of the listed genres. Although when it comes to what I've played the most I've mainly played (MMO)RTS/TPS with (MMO)RPGs coming in as a somewhat close and growing 2nd.

Excluding Fighting, but I could probs get into that genre if I had the games.

You know guys this is "Favourite Genre" not "All genres you play". I mean i could have listed off every genre like you have and only left out puzzles and sports (which i do play occasionally but don't enjoy anywhere near as much as i do the rest of them).

Surely you each play one type of genre slightly more than all the others? Or you own slightly more of one type of game?

I must vote for Action RPG. Shooters and fighters aren't bad like CoD and Mortal Kombat, but Zelda is #1.

If I didn't exclude it in my post it's tied with all of the others at the time of the post. Generally speaking you could say I lack a favorite since what I'm liking changes from moment to moment... Ask me about my fav. genre in games few years ago and I would've said, "RTS and no other!" Others may also have some difficulty narrowing down what they like the most or choosing one or a few favorites is not accurate for a very long period of time. There're a fair number of genres too (^_^) Btw, what're your thoughts on Veggimite? I've never had it, but I hear it's pretty good.

I'm a "Universal Gamer" so I'll play just about anything w/ anyone.
