I'm what you call a lurker of threads, bane to all forums.

Oh I also like anime I guess and this site (Well the old one actually) had all my anime needs. Plus the forums had cool tidbits of information.

This would probably fit better in Off-Topic, but I guess it doesn't matter.

I personally came to JD when they joined up with Dubbinz (which I had been using for a while).

I never been a fan of the forum until the site went down. To be honest was not a fan of the site itself. I always preferred watchcartoononline.com.

However it was entertaining seeing all the scrambling in the forums during the shut down. I then got hooked on you bunch so I stuck around. It kinda reminded me of the fellowship I had in another forum I was heavily in.

Yes, I still miss the old site (the best place I could find with all the updated dubs on reliable video players), but the forum was what really got me attached to JD.

It's definitely a step up from the drama of the RP forums I've come from.

What other forums have you guys come from?

I was a lurker as well, just watching the anime and enjoying reading posts. Then when it all came crashing down i was like. OMG I MOST POST. And here i am. Now im stuck with the community. I watched Dubbinz and Justdubs equally. I was glad to see them combine. I have never been a big Forumer honestly. This is the first one. I am trully glad i joined, and am now making things in PhotoShop again. This has been a wonderfull, yet very sad experience.

Did you know the forums discriminate against people over 99 years old? That's in direct violation of the Age Discrimination Act of 1994.

I am glad to see everyone participating so much in this thread. =) Gurren Laggann was a pretty good show. I enjoyed the sniper girl taking on giant mountain like robots. It gave the show some hilarity.

We have a Design club that makes Custom Signatures if your interested Jack. I am in it.
