Question of the Day QOTD

Yeah, the only ID we had was a library card with our photo on it. Didn't even need it. Mostly stayed buried in the bottom of my backpack.

Fridays question, what was the last anime movie you watched and was it worth it?

The last movie I watched was One Piece's film Z and it was absolutely great, tough new villain and interesting techniques used. It was definitely worth the several month wait, although now it has been 2 weeks since then and I still want more Chopper screen time.

The last anime movie I watched is the same as Supernatural Knight's. Although I have a different perspective of this movie. It didn't even look like Luffy had trained at all during the past 2 years. Usually it would be easy to beat a guy like Z or even Ain or that other guy that had that weird plant devil fruit. Of course I understand that Z had haki or whatever but Luffy has the Conquerors Haki so he should have been able to beat Z in just a short while. This kind of leads up to my next point. They left like 10 minutes for the final battle between Luffy and Z and it was cut short by Z defending Luffy or whatever he did. (my memory of this movie is somehow hazy)

watching this early in the morning with lights out and in earphones in a room alone made it scary if you are like me that is not into scary movie.

I was gonna say The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (which I absolutely loved), but I thought that it was strange that it was the last anime movie I remember.
Then I remembered the Anime Saturdays thing. So the last movie I watched would be My Neighbour Totoro.
It was allright, but my experience with it was much ruined by all my school friends saying "How the hell have you not seen Totoro?!" and that gave me unrealistic expectations. It was fun discussing it in Skype as we watched it, and the constant jokes at Totoro being a rapist were very amusing. And the catbus, freakin' awesome.

Overall, it was worth it cause I never saw it as a kid, and seeing it is one of those things that "You didn't have a childhood if you didn't do", even though it could have been better if my friends didn't over-hype it.

I did catch The Secret World of Arrietty on one of my HBO channels about a week ago. It was pretty cute, but I was kind of expecting more from it. It was just not as imaginative as some of Studio Ghibli's other works, if you know what I mean. I guess that's due to it being based off a story this time.

That aside, I still think it was still worth the watch.

If your life were a book, what would your opening paragraph be?

The gorgeous redhead leaned over the low brick wall and picked a single daisy. She twirled it in her delicate fingers under her nose and inhaled its aroma. She had been waiting for her companion to finish mowing the lawn so they could enjoy the lunch she had made together. She waved as he approached from the around the corner of the house. He had his shirt off and his skin glistened with sweat in the afternoon sun. He sauntered to her, picked her up and kissed her passionately. She tucked the daisy behind his ear and slowly unzipped his pants.

Okay to answer the question, here is my opening paragraph.
Get ready for it.

The girl leaned over me, making our foreheads touch. She pressed her lips to mine and our tongues intertwined. My strength started to fade and I started to feel hot. Her lips broke free and started to unbutton my shirt. I couldn't move, I didn't have enough strength. She slid her hand up my skin, her hands felt cold against my bare skin. She stopped at my chest and placed her hands on them. She moved them around and I started to moan. She heard them and I blushed, she told me I made cute noises. Her free hand touched my pants. She started undoing the belt on them. I protested, but she seemed like a whole different person. She unzipped my pants and stuck her hand down there. Touching my special area, my hips started rocking back and fourth, my moans grew louder and louder. I couldn't take it anymore and my back arched up, my muscles tensed and I let out a massive moan. Something warm was dripping down my legs, and I collapsed after. Blackness started filling my vision as the girl told me that she loved me.

The boy's parents looked annoyed. They left the damaged car in the carport and went back into the house. The boy stayed outside, pondering what could do to help. He pulled the handle and got in the now open car, looking around for something to try, and closing the door behind him. He saw a lever and tried pulling it. To his amazement, the car started moving. He had fixed the problem! It started rolling, down the large hill that was their driveway. He turned and saw his grandmother running after him, his mother shortly behind. The car picking up speed, he moved into the back seat and reached for them, not knowing what else he could do. The car swerved and crashed, breaking a good portion of fencing. His mother rushed to the door and swung it open, clutching what she thought was his lifeless body, clutching so tightly that the boy couldn't breathe. She was sobbing. The boy struggled to break free, but when he did, the woman's despair was put at ease. ~ An extract of my life at age six.

Wait, were we supposed to be telling the truth here or not?

Serious or not, it's completely fine. I usually ask for the first sentence, I like to use this on first dates, because it is interesting, and if they take it serious you get to see their point of view quite easily, if they don't you get to witness their creativity, either way, it actually puts a lot on the table to talk about, and keeps the conversation running for quite some time if you are at dinner or somewhere where you can talk.

Don't care about answering on the new forum since I still can't so I will answer this here [even if Iam a day late]

0 I have 0 glasses of water a day, if I feel like water I have it from the bottle I refill and keep in the fridge, otherwise I have other beverages.

The new forums are still confusing to me as well but it's still under construction as far as i know so it should get better. also I thought we wern't to post any links to the new site on here or as that changed?

i think its fine to post links going to the forums. its like a sister site. the facebook page even advertised the site.
